The Margo Allswang Memorial Fund
Upon moving from New York to Boca Raton in 1999, Margo Allswang a”h was one of the first to recognize the potential of the newly founded Torah Academy of Boca Raton. She became involved in every aspect of the new school, chairing programs and committees and leading the PTO. She was always glad to contribute her time and energy towards strengthening both the curricular as well as extra-curricular areas of the school. Torah Academy established the Margo Allswang Memorial Fund in 2010 in order to build on her goal of establishing Torah Academy as an elite educational institution through the addition of innovative programming, as well as through enhancements to both the Judaic and general study areas. As the 2015-2016 school marks the graduation of the youngest of Margo’s children from TABR, the school along with the Allswang family has embarked on a significant project in order to create a permanent fitting memorial on the school grounds. As Margo was committed to the importance of physical education, as well as to the health and wellness of the students of the school, the Margo Allswang Athletic Field will provide current and future generations of students with a state-of-the-art multi-use sports field. As Margo’s memory continues to inspire all who knew her, it is our fervent hope and dream to continue her legacy at Torah Academy. We are grateful to be able to have her name linked with the school for many decades to come through the Margo Allswang Athletic Field. |
